We had a decent size snowstorm almost two weeks ago. It was exciting (for a day or so) since it was the first decent snow we had had in a couple of years, but after a couple of days, I was over it. Not only did it snow, but its as also icy and FREEZING! It was nice to look at for a day, but then the cabin fever started to kick in. I was never so happy to see the snow melt... an entire week later!
This was the first real snowstorm Paige could actually enjoy. She had fun for a short period of time.
She REALLY loved to eat the snow.
Ella came out to join the fun and throw snowballs at me.
It was SO cold and windy the next morning, but Paige had to go out and "see the snow. " Needless to say she didn't last very long.
That afternoon we went over to my parent's house to pick up Ella, and play in the snow.
These two had the best weekend. They had a sleepover together on Friday night and talked mammy and peep into another night so they were together all weekend.
Can you tell how much Ella loves pictures these days!?
So if one snowstorm wasn't enough, Monday it snowed again which of course cancelled school. Although it was pretty I was definitely over it by then. I start to go crazy after being stuck in the house for more than a day.
We tried to make the best of it and went out to play. Adam took Ella to sled on the big hills. He took her out on the golf cart and ended up getting stuck. He also did donuts on our street in it. He's like a child. ;)
Paige was pretty happy about more snow!
Only Adam....
These girls LOVE to sled, but they don't like to share the sled.
Ella's school was in on Tuesday (with a delay), but we decided to wait one more day to send her. I was not about to get out and take her. Autumn came over to play for awhile.
These two have so much fun together!
That concludes our snow fun for the week. Ella headed back to school on Wednesday and luckily the snow was melted by the end of the weekend. Fingers crossed for no more snow this winter!!
