Fall fun

We have had a fun- filled fall season. From the pumpkin patch, to the zoo, fall fun day at school, and trick or treating, I feel like we have done it all. Next up is the holiday season which is my favorite "season" of the year. 

Hopefully, I can get this recap posted before Christmas is over. I have been majorly slacking this year on my blog. 

We went to the pumpkin patch with Alison and Easton. Paige and Easton hit it off right from the get-go. They have similar personalities so they had tons of fun together. We tackled the pumpkin patch, and then went to Bru Burger for lunch. 

Can you tell how hot it was in this picture? We went as soon as they opened to try to beat the heat, but it was still really hot. 

We took a wagon ride back to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin. I can not get over the amount of dust that was blowing around. We were in desperate need at this point. 

Picking the perfect pumpkin... She ended up picking one that was almost as big as her. 

The following weekend we met Alison and Easton at the zoo. The weather was MUCH nicer. These two had a good time running around, playing on the playground, and riding the carousel. It was just nice to be outside doing something! 

It looks like the giraffe even smiled for the picture!

Paige had fall fun day at school with games, a small petting zoo, a train ride, and face painting. Paige was all about it. She was a bit clingy and winy at first but once she got going she had so much fun. Paige's teacher told me Paige is strictly at school for the fun. She isn't interested in paperwork or writing her name. She is only interested in fun things and socializing with friends. I was not surprised. 

This kid is wild on the playground. She is in the middle of all the chaos and absolutely loves it. 

She finally had someone her own size to teeter-totter with. 

Parker and Paige are best buds. Paige is stuck to him like glue. She has to stick by him at snack, and they enjoy playing in the "big room" together. She met him at orientation, and their friendship has blossomed from there. It's so cute to watch them together. 

Paige is all about the face painting. She didn't want to take a bath that night so it wouldn't come off. 

Including our trip (that is up next) we had a great fall season with lots of activities. I enjoy fall but to me, it's just the gateway to my favorite season of the year. Can't wait!
