Ella started fourth grade a couple of weeks ago. Last school year was a huge transition year and I can only describe it as challenging. This year has been a breath of fresh air. Ella has been happy and raring to go most days. She has a very nice, personable homeroom teacher that is so upbeat. I am so impressed with her so far.
In fourth grade, the kids start switching classes in preparation for middle school, and Ella loves to move from class to class. The homework load has been a lot, but we are learning to manage it. I feel like I'm back in school again.
Ella has also made a couple of new friends this year already. Her best friend moved to a new school so I knew this could be a challenge for Ella, but so far she has done great. Sometimes it is good to branch out and meet new people.
I am hoping for a great school year for her filled with happiness, new friends, and good grades!!
