Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I don't know about you, but I am happy to see this year go. It was truly one of the best and worst years of my life. The best part was of course Ella, and the worst part was all the pain and suffering I had to go through to get back to normal. I don't remember a whole lot about last New Years, but I know it was a bad one. My mom came to the hospital, and I had a major breakdown. I think I cried all afternoon. It was really depressing. I vaguely remember Adam and I watching the ball drop from my hospital room. It doesn't get much worse then that! To this day I still can't believe all of that happened, and I have no clue how we all made it through. This New Years Eve has been such a happy one just because I am home and healthy. We aren't doing anything exciting, but I really could care less. I am thankful for so many things today (the list could probably go on and on so I will spare you;) I hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hopefully this year is filled with lots of happiness and healthiness for all!!

This is Ella and the boys on New Years Eve. Ella decided she didn't need a nap today and was incredibly fussy this evening. We did just about anything we could to entertain her. She went to bed at 6:00 tonight so she will most likely be ringing in the New Year from her bed:)

My little climber

This morning while I was emptying the dishwasher I look over and see this....
I of course got her off once I took a picture;) Ella has discovered that she can climb now. I have to watch her closely, or I never know what I will find her doing! She tried to climb into her walker the other day at grammy's house. She has also tried to climb on stairs. She is something else!

This is Ella in her snow gear. It started snowing this afternoon so I decided to take her out in it. It of course stopped by the time I got her dressed.. oh well!

There is that mischievous look she has. I would love to know what is going on in her head sometimes!

Cousins!

Cousin Autumn came over to play today, and the girls took a spin around the living room in Ella's new wagon. I think they could be pulled around in the wagon all day long. It was so adorable!

Up to no good!

I pretty much let Ella do whatever she wants (within reason) while I hurry to get ready in the morning. Ever since she started walking it's gotten pretty difficult to shower and get ready while she is up moving around. This morning while I was drying my hair she pulled the toilet paper from the hallway bathroom to the front door, and she thought it was so much fun! You can tell by the look on her face she knows she isn't supposed to be doing this, but she just couldn't resist!

I am so tired from my shopping trip today, but I still wanted to post a couple pictures of Ella. This is her playing in the bathtub with her new bath toys. All those toys, and all she wanted to do was chew on the wash rag. Go figure!

Merry Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas! Today we celebrated with Adam's family. We had a great time, ate good food, and took lots of great pictures. I can't believe Christmas is over. It came and went so quickly. I have so many things to be thankful for this Christmas. Just being well was a gift in itself!

This is Ella and baby Tyler. Tyler is Adam's cousin Kim's baby. What a great gift they received this year. He is such a cutie!

I am exhausted! I need to rest up for my big shopping trip to Nashville tomorrow. I am going to shop until I drop!

Merry Christmas Eve!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE! We celebrated today with my side of the family. Ella and Autumn had a great time together. Ella loves to give Autumn kisses. I think they are going to be great friends!

It's almost Christmas!

I have decided to add a picture of Ella each day so we can see how she changes over the year. These are a couple of pictures of her I took today. I love this leopard print shirt she has on. It reminds me of an outfit I had when I was a kid. I think that is how my love for animal print started. It was a leopard print skirt that had shorts underneath with a matching shirt that had leopards on it. I LOVED this outfit. I still remember finding it at Hills with my mom. I believe I even wore this outfit camping. You can still be stylish camping...right? Anyway, only 2 days until Christmas, and I am so excited. I can't wait for Ella to unwrap her gifts, and I have a few surprises for Adam as well! I'll leave you with a couple pictures of the cutie!

The great outdoors!

Ella and I went outside today to enjoy some sunshine. It gave her a chance to burn off some energy and me a chance to play around with my new camera. Ella really loves being outside. She definitely doesn't mind to get dirty. I hope you enjoy!

My baby turned 1!!

That was Ella one year ago. I really can't believe she is one. This year went by way too fast. I still remember her birth like it was yesterday. I was so excited and so TERRIFIED at the same time (if I only knew what was really in store for me). I will never forget the day she was born. It was one of the best days of my life! All the pain and suffering I went through was definitely worth it, and I have to say I would go through it all over again. She is such a beautiful little girl. Adam and I are so very lucky!

We definitely had a really rough start, but we made it. That is all that matters now! I look forward to this next year. I can't imagine what fun Ella has in store for us:)
