Tuesday

Ella is finally feeling better.  If I could get her nose to stop running she would be  completely back to normal. To celebrate her feeling better we went to the park to play. It was beautiful, and she had a great time. Things are looking up =)


 

Manic Monday

What a day! I took Ella to the doctor this morning to be checked out. After waiting for almost an hour and a half to see the doctor I found out Ella just has a cold. I knew this is probably what she was going to tell me, but I just had to make sure.  

Ella took a short nap today so I took her to feed the ducks at the state hospital. I got her out of the car to find her juice had leaked all over her pants. I unfortunately didn't have any extra pants with me so we just had to make due. While we were there Ella threw her stuffed animal in the lake. I unfortunately was not able to save it. Thank goodness it wasn't her baby!

Pumpkin Patch Fun

This morning the three of us headed to Mayse Farm Market. For the past couple of months I have been looking forward to taking Ella to pick out a pumpkin. I knew she would love it, because you get to take a hayride back to the pumpkin patch. Even though she is still a little under the weather she managed to have a good time. We look forward to this again next year!

I think Ella may be the new world record holder for having the a cold for the longest period of time. I am beginning to wonder if her nose will ever stop running. This is what we have been dealing with for DAYS...

I have tried quite a few things this weeks in hopes to make Ella a little more comfortable. I know she has been miserable. When I have a cold I just want to rest. Ella unfortunately doesn't know the meaning of rest. Here is what I have tried...

Lots and lots of vitamin C!

This poor little dude has been working overtime. I am sure he will be ready for a rest soon!

Vapor bath's and Baby Vick's. I just got these yesterday, and I think they are working. I wish I would have known about these earlier in the week. 

 We have mostly stayed home this week. We even had to miss kindermusik:( Ella is not happy when she goes out anywhere. She just wants to be at home or outside. Hopefully she will be back to normal soon. I have a feeling it's going to be a long winter. Welcome to cold and flu season...
