School is in full swing which means we are back to a good routine which is nice. Everyone is happy in school so that makes it even easier.
Ella and Paige both had picture day the first week in September. Paige wanted her hair curled and wore a dress. Ella could have cared less. She wore a hoodie and didn't even turn in her picture money or order form. Lol! Typical middle schooler.
Paige has had a lot of firsts this month. She had her first school friend over at our house. Tinley is a friend from preschool, but they have continued their friendship since then. Paige was thrilled to have her over, and they had so much fun.
Paige and Tinley also started tennis lessons together on Saturday morning. Paige looks forward to it every weekend. It's a great little class, and they have a great coach.
Future tennis stars!
The elementary school had 50's day to kick off the book fair. Paige looked so cute in her 50's attire.
Paige was also invited to her first friend birthday party. She had the best time playing with all of her kindergarten friends.
Sweet kindergarteners!!
The party was at a pony place so they got to ride ponies. Paige was a little nervous at first, but ended up loving it.
Ella helped my mom make dumplings one weekend. My mom set her dumpling board on fire as it was sitting too close to the stove. You can see how burnt it is in this picture below.
I love seeing these genuine smiles from Ella. She usually despises having her picture taken so it's always nice to get a genuine smile out of her.
We went to food truck Friday at ECS on Friday night. Adam, Ella, and I were ready to go as soon as we got out of the car. Paige immediately saw a friend from class and was in her element. We got the Kona Ice we came for, let Paige play for awhile, and then we headed out of there.
Paige and her classmate, Molly enjoying some Kona Ice.
Paige and I went to Trunnell's Farm Market and pumpkin patch one hot, Sunday afternoon. Pumpkin patches are fun but not as fun when it's 80 degrees outside. It was a very nice, clean pumpkin patch. We really enjoyed it.
They had baby farm animals, and I finally was able to hold a piglet. I think piglets are so cute. This little dude was letting everyone hold him (or her). I could have sat there all day.
They also had baby pigs to feed bottles too. It was adorable. It took Paige awhile to get comfortable around the pigs but once she did she enjoyed feeding them.
I had fun feeding them too. :)
You can tell how hot it was but how flushed Paige's face is. She was still having a great time though!
The jumping pillow is always a favorite.
They also had the prettiest field of sunflowers. We were a little late for them, but there were still plenty. Someone was nice enough to take our picture.
That smile is sign of a great day!
