Easter, 2014

We had a very busy Easter weekend. Saturday morning started out with the CFC Easter egg hunt. Ella was so excited. She loves hunting eggs. There were a ton of kids there. The kids sang and danced to a few songs, and then it was time to hunt eggs. They were only allowed 11 each so it went pretty quickly. Ella ended up with 11 PINK eggs.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day on Saturday. Ella played outside with her new power ranger. Instead of an Easter basket Aunt Lacey took Ella to Target on Friday to pick something out. She said she wanted a power ranger, but I didn't think she would come home with one almost as tall as her.

Saturday afternoon we headed to Maw and Papaw's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. Ella had a fun time searching for eggs and emptying out every single one. She loves opening each egg to see what was inside. She got a lot of candy, change, and money! After we ate we rode the four wheeler and went to the frog pit to skip rocks. Fun times!

Sunday morning the easter bunny was up bright and early to hide easter eggs. We of course had to wake Ella up to let her know the easter bunny had come. The easter bunny is so smart and knows everything she likes. She had spider man, ninja turtles, and avengers stuff in her basket.

We quickly got ready and headed to church. I'm not sure what I was thinking this year buying Ella a white dress. Before we left she had on her dress with rain boots running around the back yard holding a remote control truck that had dirt on it. I am still trying to get the stains out of that dress. Lesson learned!

I seriously can not believe how big she looks in these pictures!

We had lunch at mammy and peep's house. The girls had a great time hunting eggs. My mom got the girls water balloons and sling shots. We ended up filling balloons and had a water balloon fight. Autumn thought it was so funny to throw them at my feet. I somehow became her target!

The weather was perfect all weekend, and we were able to spend time with family! We could not have asked for a better Easter!

It really is magical

We just returned from the most magical place on earth! It was a wonderful trip, and hopefully soon I will have time to do a full recap. For now, I just wanted to post a few pictures.  I am so thankful that my parents were crazy enough to take us all to Disney. It's not easy to plan a trip for eight people, but they did it. Minus our luggage disaster the trip went off without a hitch. It truly was magical and a week we all will never, ever forget.
Thanks mom and dad!!

Living well at CMOE

CMOE has a new exhibit called, "Living Well." I have been waiting for them to finish it so I could take Ella. I love CMOE, but it gets a little old after a few visits.  They definitely needed an update.

Living well was a lot better than I even pictured it to be. We ended up staying for almost three hours. There is a well clinic, cafe, grocery store, sand area, and tv station. Plenty of areas to play pretend. Ella LOVED it. She especially loved the cafe and pretending she was a waitress.

The Well Clinic is so cool. Ella really enjoyed pretending she was a doctor. She was especially good at checking the babies ears considering she has had her ears checked many times in the past!

They have a section where you can pretend you are at the beach. I even had to put on a Hawaiian shirt and visor to play in the sand!

The cafe was the best part of the whole room. It is set up just like a real restaurant complete with menus.

It was another fun outing with me and my girl. I'm trying to soak them up and much as I can. Pretty soon Ella will be starting kindergarten, and we won't be able to do things like this during the day. Wahhhh!!!!
