Spring is in the air!

Out searching for kitty cats!
She had some spectators!
She was so excited she was clapping. She loves outside!
Giving me the evil eye.

I think she found a kitty cat.

Chillin in her wagon

Books!

Lately Ella has really become fond of books, especially her board books. She loves to go get a book and bring it to me to read to her. If I am sitting on the floor she will climb in my lap so we can look at it together. I am glad to see her doing this, because it means she will sit still for a minute. She is on the move all the time. She currently loves looking at first word books. I am hoping she will start talking any day now. The only word she can say is "gog" which is dog. Of course her first word would be dog;)

YUCK!

Everyday I fix Ella's hair and sometimes even put a bow in it. As you can tell she is not a fan of either. For some reason when she eats she HAS to pull out her little pony tail and rub food in her hair. It's so disgusting, but she finds it very amusing. Right now it's not looking very promising that she will be a girly girl, but I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Happy Birthday Grammy!

Today is my mom's birthday so I wanted to dedicate a post to her to let her know what a great mom/grammy she is! My mom goes above and beyond everyday to do things for our family, especially my brother and I. She always goes out of her way for us even if it's inconvenient. She has always put us first, even above my dad (sorry dad). My mom is the strongest person I have ever met. I am not talking physically strong. I am talking mentally and emotionally strong. She has always stood up for me not matter what, and I know she always will! When I was sick my mom cleaned, cooked, took care of Ella, made sure I was at every surgery appointment, and did things for me that a mother should never have to do for their 27 year old daughter. I will be forever grateful to her for all of these things. I admire my mom so much. She is a simple, unselfish, strong, funny, has great morals, and is full of wisdom. I strive to be like her everyday. I hope you know how much you are appreciated!

Cabin Fever!

I am so ready for spring. I seriously long for the day that I can take Ella out in shorts and a t-shirt to play. Yesterday I could tell Ella was getting antsy being inside so I decided to take her to the park. She had a blast even though it was a little chilly. Spring is right around the corner, and we can not wait!
A dog was walking by and Ella was saying, "og og!"

Ella and the telephone

Ella has seen and heard me on the phone a time or two so I was not surprised when she picked up our phone and put it up to her ear like she was talking to someone. I think it's really funny how she catches on to these types of things just by watching us. Don't be surprised if next time you call our house and a certain little girl happens to answer;)
